Terms of Service
Last updated 2026-05-06
These terms govern your use of TrustAtlas. By using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
TrustAtlas provides a database and analytical view of AI vendors, with risk scoring across 8 dimensions, configurable weighting, and curated narratives. Free tier includes the full vendor directory, comparison views, and the configurable weight wizard. Paid tiers add watchlist alerts, advanced filters, bulk export, and the print-to-PDF board report.
Acceptable use
You may use TrustAtlas to inform your own procurement, security, and compliance decisions. You may share specific risk scores, narratives, and citations with proper attribution. You may not:
- Scrape or systematically extract the database for redistribution as a competing service
- Use the service to harass, defame, or publish materially false claims about any vendor
- Reverse-engineer or attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or paid-tier gating
- Send unsolicited bulk email to addresses obtained from the service
- Use TrustAtlas data to train AI models or other large-scale data aggregation projects without prior written permission
Accuracy and liability
TrustAtlas risk scores, narratives, and structured data are opinions and informational summaries based on publicly available information and analyst review. They are not investment advice, legal advice, audit opinions, or formal risk assessments. We make a good-faith effort to be accurate and to cite sources, but:
- Vendor situations change rapidly; data on this site may be out of date by the time you read it
- Sources we cite may themselves contain errors
- Risk scoring depends on weighting that may not match your specific context
- The service is provided as-is with no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrustAtlas's aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.
Vendor representation
Vendors named on the site are listed based on public information. Vendors may claim and update their profile via the self-claim flow. Inclusion does not imply endorsement; exclusion does not imply criticism. If you are a vendor and believe the description, score, or citations are materially wrong, use the suggest-update flow on your profile or email research@trustatlas.com.
Intellectual property
The TrustAtlas name, methodology, narrative content, and software are owned by TrustAtlas. You retain ownership of any content you submit (claims, suggested updates), but grant us a license to publish and modify it for the operation of the service. Public APIs (badge SVG, OG images, feeds, embeds) are provided under a non-commercial linking license — embed freely, do not republish in bulk.
Account termination
You may delete your account at any time (see privacy policy). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
Subscription billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Refunds are evaluated case-by-case for the unused portion of a billing period — email billing@trustatlas.com. We may change pricing with 30 days notice; existing subscribers are grandfathered for the current billing period.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas. EU consumer protection rights are not affected by this clause where applicable.
Changes to these terms
Material changes will be announced via email to active users and noted at the top of this page with a new Last updated date. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
